Project Leader

Project Leader - Defence - 12 Month Contract - Barrow-In-Furness - up to £300 a day

This is a great opportunity within a leading defence organisation. They are currently looking for a Project Leader to join on a contract basis for 12 months.

On a day to day basis you will be required to Collect, collate, summarise and input information or data, carry out pre-defined analyses, and provide to others for use in decision making. Assist in monitoring project progress and identify emerging issues and trends. Handle straightforward problems or situations and refer more difficult or non-standard issues to roles at higher levels, ensuring resolution as quickly as possible. Use computerised systems to collect, summarise, analyse, input or extract data, maintaining own capabilities in use of software or programs, and ensure data is safely recorded and stored.

Experience required for this role:

*Experience of working in an Operations environment
*Experience in dealing with complex process issues
*Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills in order to successfully engage with cross functional stakeholders
*Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft packages; require strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
*Experience of leading projects
*Strong understanding of submarines business processes, specifically within production and Logistics HNC/Certificate in Project Management or equivalent level of qualification (Desirable)
