Project Leader

About the Position:
This position is part of the PMO arm of Global Deployment Services. The successful candidate will partner with IT Foundations and the AOW to assess (gap analysis), initiate and collaboratively run projects geared toward efficiently and effectively deploying requisite infrastructure components ahead of key accelerated deployment initiatives. This role covers all AOWs and collaborates with IT Foundation product owners to drive deployment of standard infrastructure technology.

They will be experienced in working on cross-functional, extended teams composed of internal and external resources. This position is the key deployment liaison between the Area of the World (AOW) IT deployment teams, providing analytical, technical and work stream coordination capabilities for our AOW partners. Ideal candidate will have base level of knowledge of restaurant technology, especially POS and infrastructure. However, Deployment Team is committed to train and coach the candidate to appropriately complement required project management and technical skills with those specific to restaurant (POS, RTP, etc.).

Responsibilities include:

- Manage projects and work streams for AOW infrastructure deployment projects
- Provide subject matter expertise across the RTP (Restaurant Technology Platform) and restaurant technology products
- Provide technical leadership for AOW deployment activities
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to AOW Deployment and Support teams
- Develop processes to improve our ability to deploy infrastructure and restaurant technology efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

- 7-10 years of IT experience with a combination of Analytical and Technical skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to travel internationally
- College degree required
- PMI certification (PMP, CAPM) a plus

Technical skills:

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)
- Microsoft Windows administration (XP, Server 2003, 2008)
- Wired and Wireless Networking configuration and concepts
- Working knowledge of Active Directory 
- Cloud computing concepts
- Data movement and management
- Identity management tools and concepts
- User and device authentication, including certificate life cycle process
- Microsoft SCOM and SCCM
