- Uses familiarity with SPLUNK to perform major projects.
- Addresses SEM alerts.
- Performs Firewall rule reviews - Security centric.
- Conducts vulnerability scanning (Nessus, Foundstone, Qualys).
- Supports NERC CIP audit activities.
SKILLS
Must be familiar with SPLUNK. Ability to address SEM alerts is required; SEP (Symantec AV) a plus. Familiarity with Firewall rule reviews and a security centric orientation needed. Must have vulnerability scanning experience (Nessus, Foundstone, Qualys) as well as Log Logic experience - Log retention a plus. Will need to be NERC trained once on board to support NERC CIP audit activities.
Background in using various SIEM tools a plus. (ArcSight, Symantec SIM, etc).
