Project Leader

Introduction

Your role is to lead a cross-sector, multidisciplinary team towards structural improvements on product level. By doing this you will improve availability, reduce factory cycle time and lower total cost of our machines. You follow a strict project approach to manage and deliver the required solutions for product related structural issues.

Job Mission

In the position of project leader you and your team take responsibility for defining and implementing the appropriate corrective, capture and preventive improvements to prevent re-occurrence in future designs. You will close the learning loop.

Job Description

* Establish a cross-sector project team and secure cross sector deliverables.

* Coordinate all actions to prevent re-occurrence of same failure modes with cross sector project management.

* Select and escalate on structural product issues with a common denominator in terms of failure modes. Provide intake, analysis and deliverables for structural improvement.

* Ensure preventive actions are executed on new product. Roll-out process towards install base line and new product introductions for the structural improvement. Ensure closing of the lessons learned.

* Propose corrective actions on existing installed base and manage roll-out of the approved engineering changes.

* Measure and present project results via a monthly report.

Education

Bachelor or Master degree in technical/technical business area.

Experience

* At least 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in industrialization or development.

* In-depth experience in product development, design or industrial engineering.

* Six Sigma (black belt) is preferred.
