Project Lead required to join a client in Ghent/Antwerp for an initial period of +6 months .

JOB DESCRIPTION

The end customer's tasks are mostly to be in the study and realisation phase. During the study phase the focus lies on tasks to unravel a problematic situation and propose a solid, high quality and feasible solution. There are a couple of steps to be followed during this process, such as summary project overview, a need and requirements analysis, an analysis report, etc. Afterwards there will be an implementation/realization phase with tasks such as: translating needs and solutions in a ledger, project management tasks, efficient allocation, coordinating projects, leading and motivating employees, updating status reports, initiate, moderate meetings, written reporting to higher management etc.

TECHNICAL & FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as SAP project lead in strongly related ICT roles.
- Extended experience as a business analyst is considered a serious plus.
- Easily and fastly adapatable to new environments, customs and methods of working within the ICT department of the city of Ghent.
- Recent, solid knowledge of business intelligence, finances, HR, strategic follow-up and reporting of goals and accompanying software is vital.
- Experience with assignments within the public sector, preferably local councils and local governmental structures.
- Acquainted with reporting within the local governmental structure is considered a serious plus.
- Experience with drafting and proposing specifications relating to governmental assignments.
- Fluent communicational skills, both in writing and verbally.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and its applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of following tools:
- Fogbugz: internal issue tracking system
- Jira: external issue tracking system
- MS Project: resource planning
