Project Engineer/Supplier Development Engineer

My client (a leading Aerospace organisation) is seeking to recruit a Project Engineer/Supplier Development Engineer to work on a contract based in the Gloucestershire that is initially scheduled for 6 months . Job description
To co-ordinate the activities of internal & external stakeholders, in order to facilitate the transfer of PCBA manufacturing operations in their entirety, from an incumbent supplier to a nominated third party manufacturer, as part of a business acquisition.

Key tasks
To plan, monitor and report dual source OTIF performance to customer schedules
To ensure quality assurance requirements are understood and complied with
To respond to, and to facilitate, engineering change requirements
To ensure capital equipment investment and test programmes are proceeding to plan
To ensure compliance to regulatory repair and overhaul requirements is met

Essential:
Proficient in MSP
Project management experience in an APQP, or supply chain development role.
PCBA manufacturing experience (or similar electronics manufacturing sector experience)
Either Civil Aviation or Automotive manufacturing experience
Able to demonstrate an ability to deal with multiple projects requiring cross functional input
