PROJECT ENGINEER - SUBSEA CABLES REQUIRED!

JOB PROFILE

Our client is a subsea power cable specialist and is working on a number of wind farm projects for major energy companies in Germany.

They are recruiting for a project engineer for their Berlin office. The role will be Monday - Friday with the client arranging accommodation and travel back to your home country each weekend.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Act as a direct technical interface with the client
- Act as technical point of contact for scopes of work within the project
- Attend the client office in Berlin 5 days a week under normal working conditions
- Attend meetings in Germany as required
- Report to Installation Department outcome of meetings and technical discussions
- Act as a direct technical interface with subcontractors

DELIVERABLES

- Produce reports and procedures in line with project documentation
- Produce minutes of meetings
- Provide responses to client comments to procedures and other documents

KEY SKILLS

- Experience with Auto-CAD
- Degree or similar
- Excellent word processing skills
- Track record or report and procedures writing
- Good communication
- High degree of technical knowledge of offshore operations
