Project Engineer - Site Prep and Clearance

PROJECT ENGINEER - SITE PREP AND CLEARANCE - LARGE CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE - GLOUCESTERSHIRE

We are now seeking an experienced Site and Preparation and Clearance Project Engineer to help define and manage the deliverables to ensure delivery of key packages of work.

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of Site/Project Engineering within the construction/
demolition sector within large infrastructure projects

This is a contract role for an initial 6 months

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Providing support to the Project Manager Enabling Works and Senior Project Engineer SP&C to deliver key packages of work through the stages of development, initiation, definition, implementation and close out.
- Providing support to ensure that these work packages are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality requirements.
- Lead and manage work package(s) and key elements of work package and project deliverables to time, quality and budget criteria.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

- Demonstrable experience in engineering or environmental roles, including time spent in key roles related to project engineering, site engineering and quality management activities of construction/demolition work,on a large infrastructure project either in the UK or overseas.
- Understanding of contract and work package management, including preparation of technical specifications, tender assessment and quality planning.
- Experience in planning and waste management issues associated with the execution of construction work.
- Involvement of a large national infrastructure project where you were involved in the site preparation and clearance
