Project Engineer role in Bedfordshire with Defence Sector

Looking for a candidate with an engineering background who has worked with in project teams responsible for INSTALLATIONS OF RADARS on MILITARY AIRCRAFT.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Will undertake installation and design and project manage tasks as assigned to you by Line Management.
- The postholder will be expected to carry out site surveys for future Radar installations and changes to existing installations.
- They will need to be able to produce comprehensive installation and recovery briefs, risk assessments and drawings.
- The briefs will include safe systems of work, to enable a properly controlled installation, modification & recovery. These information packages will be primary and secondary airfield radars, for use by service and civilian installation teams.
- Associated with this work, the postholder will be expected to produce work service and health & safety briefs for the work.

KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES:

- Produce Documentation and act as a subject matter expert for the following:

Survey Reports, Work Service Documentation, Health & Safety Briefs, Installation and Recovery Documentation
