Project Enginee/Project Manager - Electrical

Location: Site/Project/Customer Delivery work across London

The Mission:
My Global client urgently requires the services of a Project Engineer to manage a portfolio of projects from order to completion. Efficient and effective delivery of projects to ensure customer requirements are met and maximising of customer satisfaction, sales and margin.

A mix of Project Management skills are required for this role with good Customer facing/Customer/Site Delivery skills, as well as excellent "hands on" Engineering skills - ideally with Imaging Monitoring systems (Scada), Design, Commissioning, and Electrical skills/knowledge.

The Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of allocated projects from receipt of order and handover from Commercial Department, to contract close
Be the single point of project management contact for the customer
Develop and manage the project programme
Provide full technical management of the project. Determine need for and utilise Engineering Resources as necessary
Provide full commercial management of the project. Determine need for and utilise Commercial Department support as necessary. Support and advise Finance on debt collection issues.
Determine site resource needs and request from Commercial/Engineering.
Manage the site activities.
Provide Safety and Quality requirements for the project when required
Reports on all issues relevant to the business, including competitor, marketing information potential threats and difficulties satisfying customer needs.
Developing and maintaining key customer relationships
Support to other members of the Operational Team to ensure absences are covered and workload met
To work to existing procedures and assist in setting and establishing new operating procedures
Ensure that any new opportunities uncovered are actioned as appropriate and directed to the Commercial Department.

Qualifications
You will be educated to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent (HND level is preferred), with proven experience within a customer systems role. Previous experience of carrying out a similar role on a customer's site would be advantageous. In addition, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills.
