Project Engineer (Offshore Cranes)

My client is an Expanding Oil and Gas company in Aberdeen who are well known in the Industry for their Cranes, Lifting, Hydraulics and Valves services to the Industry in the North Sea and Worldwide.

My Clients business lines have been serving the same customers for more than 25 years. The services they cover include; cranes, training, pumping, hydraulics and equipment services. There is also a central engineering and technical foundation for the company, combined with more suitable distribution channels. This benefits their customers by delivering more cost effective solutions, and a greater degree of service than competitors can offer.

The company's strategy to grow the business by both organic start-up of business lines and acquisition is well underway and supported by an available combined capital investment of more than £30 million provided by the five private shareholders and partners.

Basic Requirements for this role include:
* Proven track record in a previous Engineering role or Design Engineer position.
* Experience of Stress Strain Analysis and Static Calculations an advantage
* Experience with control systems (Electric / Hydraulic / Pneumatic) an advantage
* Exposure to Oil and Gas, Offshore and Manufacturing environments
* Strong CAD skills, preferably with AutoCAD.
* Salary between £40,000 - £50,000
