IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Lead the product development process, analyses and evaluates development concepts and prepares alternatives
-Lead several development tasks, e.g. CAD, FEM simulations or development of mechanical components, responsible for test planning, implementation and analysis of results
-Clarifies product specifications with the customer in order to ensure that products meet the requirements regarding quality, costs, timing etc.
-Identifies and tracks market trends continuously and implements measures, e.g. improvement, updating or change of resources, materials, suppliers etc. to ensure competitiveness
-Defines development targets, as well as customers' requirements and defines the internal requirement manual (IRM)/FMEA/DVP
-Document development steps and results and presents them internally and externally
-Develops concepts and arrange respective benchmarks
-Conducts tolerance investigations and develops dimensioning concepts
-Plans and supervises prototype build, prototype tests and experiments
-Support preparation of testing specifications
-Develops engineering specifications
-Provides technical documents for cost estimation or test reports
-Supports the technical assessment of suppliers
-Defines technical guidelines (drawings, BOM,...) for design and cost estimation or testing guidelines
-Plans and supervises the development progress (timing) and the spending curve of the development budget
-Controls the feasibility and conducts design-FMEAs
-Supports the value analysis and develops concepts for cost reductions

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-University degree or adequate degree
-Good knowledge about production processes in automotive industry, material knowledge in steel and aluminium
-Knowledge in project management and development in automotive industry
-Experience in leading international projects and economical basic skills
-Good english skills verbal/written
