Project Engineer / Life Cycle Support Engineer

Are you looking for a new challenge within the subsea sector? I am looking for a life cycle support engineer / project engineer to join a leading service company on a contract basis within Aberdeen. My client is a leading global provider of engineering and technology, products and services to the oil and gas industry. This position will initially be a 12 month contract with the opportunity to extend, paying competitive rates. As a life cycle support engineer you will be responsible for the following: - Management and support assets, to include the co-ordination and monitoring of all work scopes, costs and schedules for subsea systems - Management and support of allocated clients - Monitoring and co-ordinating or work scopes, costs and schedules - Liaise directly with suppliers and other departments on client's behalf - Guarantee compliance with technical integrity standards and company procedures - Budget control and scheduling - Participate in design reviews, safety reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessment - Liaise with third parties and client representatives - Control of equipment budgets and delivery timelines, liaising with the cost controller to manage and control costs and cash flow, to maintain or improve margins - Ensure all work packages are closed out - Manage and deliver engineered and maintained equipment within agreed timescales and budgets - Define and acquire the resources required for planning and execution - Ensure the contractual and technical compliance of all tasks associated with the delivery of work scopes are executed To be considered: - Degree in relevant engineering discipline (minimum HNC/D) - Significant experience within the oil and gas industry - Knowledge of subsea engineering systems - Project based work within the industry - Strong interpersonal skills - Worked in a challenging environment If you have the relevant experience and are looking for a new challenge please apply.
