Project Engineer Job

PROJECT ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in INDIANOLA, PA.

- Automated manufacturing experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage automated manufacturing projects for corporate production facilities.
- Lead implementation of advanced manufacturing solutions in pursuit of improved process control, increased throughput/productivity and reduced manufacturing cost.
- Identify automated manufacturing solutions applicable to our SD corporate production facilities with particular focus on high volume production lines.
- Define and document technical requirements associated with automated manufacturing projects.
- Prepare comprehensive project proposals including capital, expense, manpower and schedule estimates with a clear map to the long-term business impact.
- Lead implementation of advanced automated manufacturing technologies.
- Manage collaboration and teamwork between external automation development partners, internal operations staff and production enterprise members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and with minimal production impact.
- Support the ongoing development of a roadmap of automation technology based on best practices in the industry and the latest, cutting-edge equipment/technology developments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Engineering (ME or EE)
- Seven-plus (7+) years of direct experience developing automated manufacturing solutions for high-volume operations with at least four years of technical leadership experience.
- Experience with automated assembly and packaging automation highly desired.
- Proven ability to apply basic tools and technologies to complex problems typically involving a multidisciplinary approach.
- Proven ability to demonstrate analytical capabilities (including modelling, simulation, statistical analysis, analytical design tools, etc.).
- Working knowledge and proven skills of PC computer operating system including Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CAD packages (ProEngineer, Solidworks or Auto Cad).
