Project Engineer/CNC Engineer - Automotive Powertrain Supplier - 6 months - START ASAP - Central Belgium
My Tier 1/Tier 2 Automotive supplier are in need of a specialist project CNC engineer to join the team ASAP. The role will be 50% shop floor based and 50% behind a desk.
The role will involve reading customer drawings, interpreting these into process flows, setting up CNC machines and tooling, testing and documentation.
Essential experience:
Manufacturing environment - 3 years + (Shop floor)
Contributed to Improvements - eg efficiency, output, costs
Statistical analysis
CNC set up experience
CNC programming (online mainly)
Machine testing and fault finding experience
Metalworks environment experience
Strong administration and documentation skills
IT savvy - office, MS Word, excel etc
English speaking
Nice to have experience:
Gear making experience
Transmissions/Powertrains/brakes
Siemens machines or Fanuc
Automotive
Contract: 6 months +
Location: Central Belgium - 1 hour from Brussels
Rate: negotiable
