Project Engineer (Civil)

Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a civil background seeking a new opportunity? An exciting contract has arisen to join the decommissioning project based at Bradwell!

The successful candidate will be primarily associated with a Structural Steelwork and Cladding Project with an element of "Deconstruction/Demolition".

The post holder will be required to undertake the following in the context of such a project:- * Provide technical advice and guidance within Project team in respect of onstruction/deconstruction activities to ensure compliance with design intent, Specification and Drawings. Act as the primary contact between the Construction function and Site's Design Authority.. Provide practical technical solutions to on-site technical issues in timely manner.. Carry out technical assessment/approval of contractors work instruction/method statements/risk assessments. Manage and monitor the Contractor's activities in respect of compliance with Specifications and Drawings.. Undertake Inspections of Steelwork and Cladding work packages against specification and accept on behalf of Client.. Identify and record any apparent abortive work/rework for Commercial purposes. Act (with Delegated Authority) as "Supervisor" under NEC Contract.

The post-holder should have:- * Working knowledge of National Steelwork Specification and Structural Steelwork practices.. A Good knowledge of appropriate Health and Safety Legislation associated with such works (LOLER Work at Height etc.) Minimum of HNC in a relevant engineering subject.
