OUTSOURCE UK LTD is actively seeking to recruit a Project Engineer for a contract role on behalf of a client.

THE JOB:
Key Responsibility Areas
The successful Project Engineer candidate will be responsible for the following:
The creation of engineering drawings to support production and development projects where the candidate will have a working knowledge of Engineering drawings and an ability to produce drawings on CAD NX6. Specific knowledge of NX6 would be advantageous.
The candidate will also be required to manage product build standards, where a working knowledge of TeamCentre and SAP would again be advantageous. In these areas training will be given where required.

The candidate will be proficient at creating Engineering specifications and reports and have an appreciation of safety requirements and associated documentation associated with Engineering activities, from a SHE and product safety perspective.
A key task will be to help facilitate and provide support in the creation of data packs which will enhance control of the plant and process on site to ensure safe and suitable products are being produced and drive down waste.
A logical approach to problem solving, testing and data analysis is required. The ability to collate data from various sources, sort then analyse is essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to confidently engage with both customers and suppliers.
Role requires the successful candidate to have a Continuous Improvement attitude and to actively support and contribute to cost reduction activities.
Support the development of others, both in the business and supporting initiatives off-site which promote Engineering careers to young people.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
The ability and willingness to operate as a team player will be critical to success in this role.
There will be occasions where the candidate will be expected to work on their own, managing their own work load and delivering to agreed targets, so self-motivation is a key quality.
Applicants must have experience in an Engineering role ideally supported by a formal Engineering qualification to a minimum HND level.
Essential to have the ability to interact and create a working relationship with people at various levels and functions within and outside the business presenting a co-operative, positive, can do attitude at all times.
