Rate: Up to 25.64/hr Ltd Co. Dependant on Experience.

Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

Skills Required:

Project Manage engineering delivery from concept to production of wheels and related products, working in a team of 17 engineers based at the client's site in Warwickshire.

Supporting PMST and PST meetings weekly, project managing and engineering wheels for a given programme for the full life of a vehicle delivery programme. WERS releasing experience useful (not critical), position will require an understanding of the product development process including FMEA'S, DVP generation, reviewing, checking and tracking supplier commodity plans, managing suppliers, ensuring testing is completed, organising tests, supporting pre-build events with related components and be the single point contact for a given programme for the Engineered to order (Special Vehicles) chassis engineering team.

Able to read engineering drawing data and understand and use engineering standards and specifications. Wheel engineering delivery experience a major advantage for this role although some training can be given.

Skills Preferred:
CAD - Catia V5 knowledge useful,Digi-buck.

Experience Required:
WERS releasing knowledge an advantage, Chassis engineering experience, wheel engineering experirence, used to working to tight time lines. Good understanding of testing, DFMEA's, engineering tools for product development and delivery. Good Excel user would be an advantage also.

Education Required:
Ideally Engineering degree level although other engineering qualifications are applicable based on experience. City and Guilds min.
