My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their Electrical Engineering division on a long-term contract basis.

Position: Project Engineer

Position Description:
The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Chassis Electronics (CE) teams design and develop all driver assistance and Chassis Electronics functions internally, covering multiple commodities and deliveries. The Module Planner role covers all ADAS commodities (Radar, Camera and Ultrasonic) for a specific platform, or combination of programmes. As Module Leader you will act as the key interface between the ADAS team, the Electrical Project Team and the Programme Team, as well as facilitating cross department discussions and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, summarise and report out ADAS/CE team performance against key metrics (AIMs, WERs, RMDV, PSW etc.) to Team, Group Leaders and Senior Manager.
Create and present ADAS/CE team summary sheets at Project Reviews and CPE/CFE reviews.
Represent the ADAS/CE team at AIMs startup meetings.
Run weekly Module Meetings with ADAS/CE engineering team to share programme relevant information.
Support engineers with creation and maintenance of vehicle test plans.
Manage and resolve issues on your programmes, escalating where required.

Skills Required:
Demonstrable experience in managing multiple projects.
Able to work both individually and within a team.
Able to deliver and lead projects, ontime working within high regard to gateway deadlines, and resolving technical issues with robust solutions.
Good spoken and written communication.

Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of software development and release process desirable
UK driving licence

Experience Required:
Demonstrable experience in managing multiple projects.

Education Required:
Educated to degree level is preferred, although other relevant engineering/automotive qualifications considered.

Additional Information:
Occasional travel between sites and plants.
