Project Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a qualified and experienced PROJECT ENGINEER to support and assist the Project Team in the delivery of major Site reconstructions and Upgrades.

You will be supporting the Project manager and Design Manager in the oversight of the following engineering disciplines:

- Civil
- Structural
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Hydraulic

You will also support liaison with stakeholders and attend meetings between principals and contractors and be responsible for minute taking and overall all engineering management and administration services.

Skills and Qualifications needed:

- Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Further qualifications in a Management discipline is considered an advantage
- 5-8 years experience in construction
- Experience supporting Design development
- Experience drafting Scope of Works documents
- Experience procuring Contractors or sub-contractors
- Civil experience (roads, carparks)
- Rail experience (station upgrades)
- Programming Skills (MS Project or Primavera)
- A basic understanding of construction contracts
- Previous liaison responsibilities with Service providers (power, water, sewer, councils, etc)
