Job Title: Project Engineer or Test and Development Engineer

Role: 12 months contract, full time

Location: Birmingham (Aerospace)

The Client: This company is involved with all aspects of the design and development of control units for aerospace engines and safety critical products.

Key Tasks

The Project Engineer will work in a multi-disciplined engineering team reporting to the lead engineer.

Responsibilities

*Identifying test requirements
*Preparation of design, qualification and other validation/development test plans and the identification of rig and instrumentation requirements.
.Identification of reporting and solving product or process failures and problems
.Liaison with customers, partners companies, suppliers and external test agencies
.Customer and supplier specification preparation and review
*Analysing of test data, production test result trends and the like for which PC literacy is essential
.Assist customer support with the more difficult investigations of service failures

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

*Fuel Circuit experience

*Engineering degree/HND or equivalent
*Gas Turbine Fuel Systems
*Pumping
*Airframe Fuels Systems
*Gas Turbine accessories
*Aerospace flight control systems
*Hydraulics and Fluids
*Vibration
*Word, Excel and Labview
