Project Engineer

Project Engineer with a background in medical device product development process (21 CFR 820) is needed in Round Lake IL for a contract position expected to last 12 months could be longer based on performance. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage a variety of projects, leading cross functional teams, monitoring and reporting on project status and ensuring projects meet their cost, quality, timing and content objectives.
- Assign and track team deliverables for project completion
- Responsible for implementing program in order to support product stewardship / regulatory requirements (REACH, RoHS, etc.)
- Support business process/system integrations (Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System)
- Responsible for project communication by interacting with PMO Leadership, Project Core Team and extended teams to ensure effective communications and manage expectations

REQUIREMENTS

- BS degree, preferably in Engineering
- Medical device product development and manufacturing processes in compliance with FDA's Design Control per 21CFR820
- 5-10 years cross-functional project experience in medical cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, etc)
- Strong project management skills required, including demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional global projects in a matrixed environment
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Product Development Process requirements
- PMP a plus
