Project Engineer

Project Engineer required for a 3-6 month contract based between Swindon and Bristol.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR-

-Management/engineering competence.
-Ability to organise work load and to manage a filing methods and management techniques.
-Attend and partake in the Project Design Meetings.
-Ensure technical compliance with current British Standards and Legislation, in association with the appropriate engineering discipline.
-Monitor design deliverables against the respective project design programme, reporting findings to the Project Manager, Contractors Engineering Manager and the Geographic Engineering Manager.
-Prepare and maintain Project Design Meeting Minutes/Notes.
-Monitor the closing out of Design Change Control and Technical Queries.
-Review and approve Work Package Plans (WPP) and Task Briefing Sheets (TBS).
-Assist in value engineering initiatives, and the development of engineering efficiencies.
-Assist in the planning, supervision and monitoring of installation in accordance with engineering standards and specification.
