Project Engineer

A leading EPC firm is currently seeking a strong Project Engineer to execute plant engineering projects and perform plant engineering in a food manufacturing facility. Candidates must have a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 5+ years of field experience in a food or other hygienic manufacturing facility. This is a long term contract in the Philadelphia area and our client is only seeking local talent at this time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop Process P including monitoring scope, schedule, quality and budget and directing technical aspects of the project.
- Monitoring construction progress.
- Responsible for defining the work scope for construction contractors and preparing schedules and budgets.

REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to read and mark-up P&ID's.
- BS in Engineering, PE preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
- 5+ years project engineering experience in a multi-discipline engineering environment for the execution of food projects.
- Minimum of 5 yearsworking in a field assignment setting.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Project is a must.
