Project Engineer

Project Engineer based at Rolls Royce in Derby. This is a key engineering role and you will be the primary on-site technical contact point for the Rolls Royce Managed Service.

As the Project Engineer you will take the initial Statement of Requirement (SoR) and develop the initial Technical and Programmatic aspects of the Statement of Work (SoW) by working with the Rolls Royce Work Package Owner (WPO), Integrated Project Team Leaders, Design Engineers and Resource Managers. Then, working with the selected Managed Service Delivery Centre you will ensure the final SoW meets the Customers Requirements and report on progress at the weekly Internal and Customer Operational Reviews.

You will need 10 years experience working with gas turbines either on Rolls Royce or related programmes. You will have strong Project Management skills and will have experience of defining Statement of Work from concept.

You will also have strong negotiating skills interfacing with customers and internal design teams to ensure delivery to milestones.
