Project Engineer

Project Engineer/ Project Manager/ Process Engineer needed for our client based in Norway within the oil and gas discipline, working on an aviation refuelling system project.

The Project Engineer/ Project Manager/ Process Engineer must be experienced in working within multidisciplinary teams and on special design projects.

My Client is looking for a Project Engineer/ Project Manager/ Process Engineer who maybe does not have exact aviation project engineer experience, but have experience working within multidisciplinary projects and with a background in mechanical engineering or process engineering. The Project Engineer/ Project Manager/ Process Engineer need to be familiar in working with a smaller team, and being proactive with their approach as they will be largely unsupervised. They also will be able to liaise with different departments effectively.

The actual project will involve a FEED study, finalising drawing and designs for a carbon steel structure, as well as drawings for fabrication. Also incorporating layout and routing for piping, using 3D Modelling using inventor, and PDMS experience will be desirable;

The product is skids containing storage, pumping, and filtration of Jet Fuel for helicopter refuelling systems located on offshore installation. So it is important that the Project Engineer/ Project Manager/ Process Engineer are familiar with reading and working according to offshore specification, reading technical specifications and transfer relevant information to the project.

The Project Engineer/ Project Manager/ Process Engineer will also be responsible for the below

Make sure technical scope is transferred to P&ID and GA drawings.
- Develop drawings himself or by checking drawings. (P&ID, GA, Fabrication draw ISO drawings)
- Follow up and make sure all documents are produced as per Document list
- Fill in datasheets
- Write technical and functional descriptions
- Get material for production
- Follow up production
- Client contact

All work is in located in the Client office, maybe some trips to the end client office for meetings.

The Project Engineer/ Project Manager/ Process Engineer must be able to use their initiative and be proactive in their approach.

The Project Engineer/ Project Manager/ Process Engineer must have experience within mechanical engineering and process engineering.
