Project Engineer

PROJECT ENGINEER - PHARMACEUTICAL - 6 MONTHS - £GOOD

Our client, a leading manufacturer of Pharmaceuticals, is looking for a strong Project Engineer to immediately join their team. Supporting the Engineering Manager, you will ensure the efficient and safe design and implementation of engineering projects and facility improvements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Co-ordinating communications between Client, Suppliers and Contractors in regard to project works, as required. Including any communication on specifications, pricing & inspection visits necessary to ensure that the client site is able to operate efficiently.
- Work collaboratively on the justification, options and approval of new projects
- Ensuring that all project works are prepared completed in a timely, safe and cost efficient manner. Documentation is completed to the site standards
- Development and Validation of specifications and procedures for equipment and facilities on client site.
- Ensure robust financial control of projects and facility upgrades.
- Respecting guidelines and instructions in regard to Pharmaceutical faculties, local and national regulations as well as Client group specifications.
- Observation and implementation of the site safety, security and bio-security rules and regulations .
- To support the out of hours call out system operated by the Engineering Department as required.

- Technical research as required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- Experience: project management of process engineering projects including M&E.
- A higher qualification (diploma or above) in an engineering one or more of the following disciplines Electrical/mechanical/civil.
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Good experience of running a variety of engineering projects
