Project Engineer

Immediate need for a Project Engineer with effective management of all engineering/design and procurement functions of power generation project basis. PE Required. PMP Certification preferred. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years experience. Position will be located Central Ohio and is a long term contract assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for the effective planning and managing of the engineering/design and procurement efforts whether completed internal to or external
- Responsible for meeting contractual requirements for fit, form and function, are produced in accordance with the project schedule and meet the design basis and intent.
- Actively identify and bring to resolution any technical issues that may impact production of design products per schedule.
- Direct and lead assigned discipline engineers with the effective interface with design agencies, project managers, plant managers, Engineering Services personnel, construction managers and field engineers with regard to all design/engineering matters.

REQUIREMENTS

- Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, or equivalent in job knowledge and/or experience.
- Requires a minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years experience including work in major construction field experience, detailed project estimating experience, and/or comparable external experience in a competitive production environment. Extended tenure is desired, salary commiserate with skill level
- Experience in development of project budgets for input into the Annual and Capital Improvement budgets.
- Experience in projects and engineering products developed by outside design agencies are compliant with requirements of internal and external customers.
