Project Director - Financial Industry

The Project Director is responsible for establishing and leading a major project encompassing end to end delivery of all aspects of the project including delivery of new capability into the business, management of project risk and establishment of the benefits management framework. This role is required to manage this work in line with the accountabilities and parameters set out below.

- Implement a technology platform that allows large-scale rollout of tablets across the group and manage them according to the clients policies eg Internet site filtering
- Deploy up to 1200 tablets with a suite of applications used by Corporate & Commercial Banking relationship managers that support the Target Operating Model that can remotely access the clients systems.
- Migrate the Corporate & Commercial Banking users that have tablets to the new platform when implemented.
- Rolling out the tablets and deploying the 4 application enhancements will deliver $3-5m benefits per year.

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Proven Delivery of large scale and complex projects or programs.
- Stakeholder management skills - ability to firmly and diplomatically manage business stakeholders delineating project and business responsibilities.
- Business applications mindset - understand common functions and features across applications and how apps could be aggregated.
- Understand the broader context - recognise threads across multiple releases/initiatives across the portfolio and how they relate/can be more effectively delivered.
- Strong focus on Scope Management and delivery focus.
- Executive Presentation skills - Respond to requests and develop material for executive presentations (eg mgmt board packs)
