Project Director

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

The following is a list of job duties and responsibilities, including essential and marginal tasks.

- To manage internal and external team resources in a Matrix environment to achieve programs/projects delivery, including where appropriate through other project managers.
- Customer relationship building and team management with senior level under the project in advance to achieve highest customer satisfaction rate.
- Responsible for the program/project profitability targets and ensure that the project business operation target has been achieved.
- Ensure the program/project has been delivered follow quality agreement with customer, SLA, and EHS standard.

Candidate Requirement:

Applicant must meet the following minimum requirement in terms of work experience and education background to be eligible.

- At least 15 years experience to manage telecoms program and projects delivery in a Matrix environment.
- At least 10 years manpower and staff management experience.
- Experience of managing program budgets of over 20M USD.
- Experience of working with and reporting to senior customers, ie CXO level.
- Good knowledge of at least one or more of the following products: IP, DSL, MSAN, DWDM, IN, wireless.
- Experience of managing sub-contract resource.
- University degree in telecoms, electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- A recognized project management qualification (PMI preferred).
