Project Director

Strategic Investment Board (SIB) is assisting the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) with its investment in the creation of a shared data centre environment for use by the NICS and other public bodies. Phase One will deliver a shared data centre facility for NICS and the Health and Social Care Business Support Organisation, probably in the form of a managed service contract. The facility will then be extended to other public bodies.

We wish to recruit a Project Director with successful experience of delivering data centre services in the public or commercial sectors. You will lead this project from specification, through procurement to operational commencement. You will be the NICS's and the Northern Ireland Executive's lead adviser on shared data centre models.
