Project Design Engineer

I am currently seeking a commercially aware Project Design Engineer to work for an organisation based in West Sussex. Salary up to £40,000. Your role will be to support my clients Engineering Contract Team. My client operates within the Petro-Chemical and Oil and Gas sectors and design and manufacture actuator valve packages. They are seeking a strong individual to join their team due to continued growth and expansion. Most of their business currently is predominatelyUKandEuropebut they will be looking into other areas in the near future. You would be working directly in a closely knit team of 4. In total there are 20 engineers in the organisation on site. However they are owned by a major organisation that have a large presence in the market place. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Design Engineer with some exposure to basic Electrical Engineering; have experience working with valves and actuators, ideally within the Petro-chemical Industry, and have a good understanding of internal processes and IT literate. A good understanding of ERP/MRP systems would also be a distinct advantage for their future plans.
