Project Delivery Director, Construction Projects, 12+ Month Contract

PROJECT DELIVERY DIRECTOR, CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS, 12+ MONTH CONTRACT, CONTRACT, NORTH LONDON

My North London based client is seeking a Project Delivery Manager to be based from their offices in North London; this will be initially a 2 day a week contract until September 2015.

Essential skills and experience required are;

Experience of leading successful delivery of large-scale construction projects
Technical knowledge of decentralised energy market, preferably with practical experience of district heating
Political awareness and ability to effectively engage with politicians, senior managers and other local authorities
Marketing and ability to promote the project
Business development - ability to facilitate new business opportunities
Setting construction strategies and leading implementation
Setting procurement strategies and leading implementation
Managing project to cost plan, detailed work programme, technical brief and required quality
Legal and Contract acumen
Managing Commercial Strategy
Effective risk management
