Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a JUNIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR having experience in SAP PROJECTS and a BACKGROUND IN INFORMATICS.
This is a contracting role based in the Basel area and planned to start in OCTOBER until END OF JANUARY 2019 WITH EXTENSION OPPORTUNITIES.

BACKGROUND:
Our client is seeking to hire a project coordinator who will be in charge of assisting the Informatics Project Manager in organizing an ongoing SAP project.
To be successful as a project coordinator you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and Smartsheet, have very good verbal, written, and presentation skills in English and German. processes.
TASKS:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans and project schedules
- Organizing, attending and participating in project meetings
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
IDEAL PROFILE:
- 2-5 years of experience as a project coordinator (experience in SAP projects highly preferred)
- A background in Informatics or a related field with min. 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge in file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Willingness to work onsite with customers (Basel and Kaiseraugst)
- Fluent in English and German (both mandatory)
NICE TO HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree in Informatics
- Experience in coordinating SAP projects
