Project Coordinator Job

PROJECT COORDINATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

- Telecom/Wireless experience
- Project Coordinating
- Strong communication skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with Microwave Construction Guidelines and Processes.
- Create Purchase Orders and Bill of Materials.
- Assist with Closeout Documentation.
- The Project Coordinator will coordinate with the Project Management group.
- They will track down work orders and maintain general contractors
- Attend meetings, compile meeting minutes
- Assist Project Management with tracking, updating and reporting on project related activities
- Update and maintain technical databases and generates reports
- Track and compile project information and prepares status reports for management
- Review and reconcile project issues at the request of the Project Manager
- Assist Project Management as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School diploma or Equivalency
- Must possess basic understanding of project methods and processes
- Must possess good project tool skills
- Microsoft Office: Word and Excel (ie Pivot Tables and Excel functionality such as VLookups)
- Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Can work flexible hours including nights and weekends

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in Norad and/or Oracle is a plus.
- Purchasing type experience is desirable.
- Two year business degree is preferred
