PROJECT COORDINATOR (HR SYSTEMS IMPLEMENATION) - HR SYSTEMS, HR with experience of HR System Implemenation projects, required for INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR organisation in EDINBURGH.

Contract. Edinburgh. 6 months. £125 - £150 per day. MUST HAVE WORKED ON A HR SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION!

The company are in the process of implementing a new Time and Attendance system (Optimum) which has been recently procured. They require a project coordinator to undertake this project.

The Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for all aspects of project management, governance and where appropriate, financials and reporting for the implementation of the new time and attendance systems projects; These will include the planning, execution and accomplishment of the project objectives and managing to the constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality of the project throughout its life cycle and will provide high-level co-ordination and support to stakeholders.

The post-holder will be familiar with working closely with senior management, policy leads and key internalrevise the schedule as required
- Liaise with the development team to agree appropriate technical documentation for each project to ensure smooth and successful project delivery.
- Manage the activities of and work with the project team to successfully deliver the project in line with SCTS project management procedures
- Actively engage with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Strong project experience (supported ideally - but not essentially - by a project management qualification such as PRINCE2)
- A strong technical background and proven experience of managing projects and supplier/stakeholder relationships
- Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments
- Able to work on your own initiative and manage multiple work-streams
- Strong co-ordination experience - ability to manage internal/external resources, costs, schedules
- Self - organised and self-starter
- Flexible and resilient in work approach

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Prince 2 qualified or equivalent PM qualification
- Delivery a project in a public sector organisation
- Knowledge of the public service landscape.
- Experience of working within or alongside project delivery teams
- Good knowledge of common HR processes/systems.
