PROJECT COORDINATOR - HEALTH CARE BENEFITS

DURATION: 8-month contract (W2)

LOCATION: Portland, OR 97232

CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

PAY RATE: $17/hr

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist Senior Director and staff with project work
- Budget tracking and spreadsheet analysis; data gathering
- Systems user testing and other support for the team
- Various project support - will work on a certain piece of several projects; float as backup
- Learn processes to support team
- Rate generation using specific benefit codes

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio would be helpful)
- Ability to learn and navigate Legacy computer systems; comfort with various systems
- Prioritization and time management
- Benefits experience/knowledge of health insurance
- Past experience could include medical billing, HR benefits department
