Promotion and Advertising Specialist

Our client currently has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Advertising and Promotions specialist to come on board on an initial 12 month contract.

In this role you will be supporting the review of all promotion and advertising spend across our client, management of the P&L, performing the monthly close for promotion and advertising, as well as day to day marketing activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review and assess all marketing funds request
- Assist campaign managers in preparing the marketing funds request
- Monitor release of funds and templates
- Assist with the P&L, month end process and prepare journals
- Assist with the planning, budgeting and forecasting process
- Prepare internal monthly marketing reports
- Ad hoc projects

KEY CRITERIA:

- Solid experience in an Promotion/Advertising position
- Ability to undertake financial modelling and formulating recommendations
- Strong Analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
