CORPORATE PLANNING PROJECT COORDINATOR

DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for providing coordination, meeting management, and technical business support for the Corporate Planning departments of Business Development and Enterprise Risk Management.

Under the overall general guidance of the Directors of Business Development and Enterprise Risk Management, responsible for complex administrative and project support, scheduling leadership meetings, researching data/information, and making recommendations.

Acts as Corporate Planning coordinator/specialist to assist department and/or cross-divisional groups with scheduling/assignments/initiatives as required.

Collaborates with functional/department subject matter experts in planning and supporting key enterprise and strategic goals.

Develop and maintain specialized databases/project lists and schedules, and identify areas for process improvement.

Assist in preparation of Enterprise Risk Management reports.

High level of discretion and professionalism required due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the supported projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Provides complex administrative and project support to Directors of Business Development and Enterprise Risk Management using Lotus Notes and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, MS Project, and/or PowerPoint)

- With general guidance, supports document and meeting management. This includes proactively planning with managers in advance for scheduling meetings and determining required preparation for them with sufficient lead-time

- Schedules meetings, and assists in drafting agendas and documents for various projects/activities in Business Development projects and Enterprise Risk Management (includes leadership and board meetings and documents)

- Coordinates project work schedules to meet client expectations and raises conflicting deadlines to management's attention; upkeeps project team contact and distribution lists

- Interacts with executives and employees across multiple organizations, as well as external representatives, serving as a liaison for the department function to discuss complex administrative matters, business processes, and project activities to facilitate department goal attainment

- Assists with identifying information sources to support Business Development and Enterprise Risk Management.
- Maintains specialized databases/tables/lists and oversees processes and access to safeguard data integrity

- Assists in the development of Enterprise Risk Management and related reports in response to routine and custom reporting requests to meet informational requirements of management and/or external agencies and organizations for critical risk, financial, operational or other assessments

REQUIREMENTS:

HS DIPLOMA REQUIRED - BS PREFERRED

MIN 3 YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE

Very strong, PROFESSIONAL communication skills

Looking for self starter with strong attention to details who is deadline driven.

Candidate will be interfacing with all levels of leadership - Needs to show extreme professionalism Environment is fast paced - priorities are changing often - Candidate needs to be comfortable with change and can roll with the punches.

Lotus Notes and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint)

Internet Savvy.
