SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR

As a Project Control Coordinator (PCA), you will be tasked with acting as a resource supporting multiple projects lead by PMs in the IT, PMO. In this role, PCA assists the PMO PMs to provide accurate tracking, reporting and communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage and track issues and risks logs
- Update and maintain the Project Schedule by getting status updates from the many Matrix teams on a weekly basis
- Work with Financial Analyst, Program/Project Manager to review financial status of the project
- Schedule and attend business and IT meetings and assist with update of required documentation (IT status of teams, updates to MS Project, Issues Log, Risks Log, etc)
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team
- Manage and track change requests
- Manage and update the SharePoint site
- Keep the PM and others informed about project status and issues that may impact relations with the business
- Enables the PMO PMs to manage budget, funding, scope, communication and resources to deliver products that achieve business value for the client

GENERAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

- Analyze budget, resource and spend/identify trends
- Coordinate project plans at program Level; consolidate plans to program level
- Administer HP-PPM (Project Portfolio Management tool)
- Administer SharePoint Site
- Administer Change Request process
- Administer Issue & Risk process
- Executive Reporting Support
- HP PPM - Track/Analyze/Identify/Communicate
- Under direction of Project/Program Manager
- Request resource allocations
- Assign tasks to allocated resources
- Update project work plan
- Schedule & milestones
- Budget & spend
- Resource utilization
- Set-up Project Tasks
- Assign resources
- Update Staffing Profile to maintain appropriate allocation level
- Create, Update, and Upload Scorecards
- Capture Issues

REQUIREMENTS:

- Project Coordinator with experience working in large IT PMO or IT area
- Minimum of 2 years of Project Coordination experience
- Competent with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of Agile process will be a big plus
- Experience on either HP PPM/PlanView/Clarity/Niku is required
- Must be able to communicate clearly, effectively, timely using proper grammar in written and verbal formats
- Proficient in managing and updating the SharePoint site
- Must be a team player and able to work with a very dynamic team and a lot of change
- Must be able to focus, work diligently and be a self-starter that does not require step by step guidance
