Salary: HEO £29,554 - £34,424

Location: Whitehall, London Fixed term contract 18-24 months with possible extension or permanency DECC are currently looking to recruit a number of driven and ambitious project coordinators on an 18-24 month fixed-term contract, to support the delivery of a number of high-profile reforms across the organisation. You will be working within a small team, helping to organise and deliver a key set of objectives, effectively delegating tasks, ensuring they are prioritised and completed, and taking an overarching view of the project. You will be responsible for analysing a wide variety of data, helping to inform and impact upon decision making to determine the future of the project. Candidates will need to have strong experience of helping to deliver projects throughout development and implementation, with a high level of both written and verbal communication, and strong numerical skills. You will need to be flexible, with strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, and an ability to prioritise yours and others workload. Motivating and managing other members of staff will also be a key aspect of the role, ensuring that project objectives and deliverables are met within agreed timescales. Commercial acumen and an understanding of how the project will impact upon the energy sector are critical. Experience of the energy sector will be an advantage, but is non-essential.
