Project Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Managing various aspects of business projects with a focus on risk and execution management.
- Includes project planning and design, implementing strategic and tactical initiatives, and ensuring, through formal project management practices, that the final product meets the original project requirements.
- Includes functions in support of Client's project management.
- Support Project Manager/Event Manager in developing and maintaining project schedule including identification of tasks, duration, resources, dependencies, critical path and work calendar.
- Coordinates information and inputs data in to project/risk tools.
- Coordinates the completion of key tasks associated with the management of projects and or risk events.
- Uses Microsoft Project to support schedule tracking and reporting for project/risk team.

SKILLS
Previous Banking/Financial Services experience required. Frequently uses and applies appropriate standards, principle theories, concepts and techniques. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Provides solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works under general supervision and follows established procedures. Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis required. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to work well with others across job.

Basic skills required include MS Office (primary: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, good time management and personal organization, with ability to multi-task). Basic understanding of project Development Life Cycle, with strong understanding of Feasibility to understand business intent, assess breakdowns, IT impacts/estimates and risks to project execution.
