Link Technologies is looking for a Project Coordinator for a contract position in Philadelphia, PA.

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Director of Project Management, PMO Program Directors and PMO project managers, revise and maintain critical documents required to support assigned business projects. Such documents may include, but are not limited to the following:

Prepare task lists, MS Project schedules, and resources assignments based on input from functional experts.

Create general communication and announcements regarding project status and specific project implementations.

- Under the direction of the Director of Project Management, PMO Program Directors and PMO project managers, creates general departmental communications, including presentations for management regarding project activity, project communications, and general announcements (including internal-only press releases) used to notify associates of specific events or organizational changes that relate directly to the projects organization's activities.
- Assists and directs clerical staff in reproduction, binding, and distribution of project documents.
- Participates in the development of publication standards for the project documentation projects.
- Other job-related tasks as assigned.
- Create and maintain project schedules using MS Project as well as other web based PM tools.
- Adheres to KMHP policies and procedures.
- Supports and carries out the Mercy Mission & Values.
- Attends required training on an annual basis.

PROJECT ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Maintains a thorough understanding of the goals of the assigned project(s).
- Coordinates project-related communications and tasks between functional areas and the PMO department.
- Meets with the PMO Program Directors and PMO project managers to understand all vital aspects of the particular project.
- Assists the PMO Program Directors and PMO project managers in revisions and updates of Project Artifacts. Participates in the review, editing, and revisions of documents produced by others in support of projects.
- Administers and maintains a version control system that manages access to project documentation, not only electronically, but for paper documents that must have restricted distribution.
- Creates and maintains a project documentation file to include numbering and progress tracking.
- Facilitates project meetings.
- Compiles and maintains interim project reports and minutes of meetings.
- Prepares periodic update reports for project team members, executive management and leadership.
- Assists the PMO Program Directors and PMO project managers in various activities such as budget monitoring. Prepares budget reports for various aspects of the project.
- Communicates relevant information to all team members, such as change in schedule dates, changes in the project's requirements, etc.
- Serves as a point of contact from project initiation to project completion.
- Coordinates activities with vendors and suppliers and maintaining relationships with them
