Project Coordinator

Contract Manufacturing Plant Coordinators are needed onsite at leading automotive manufacturing facility in the Detroit, MI area. This is a long-term contract lasting 1 year for someone with paint shop or automotive paint shop experience. Competitive hourly rate and benefits. Now interviewing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Your primary responsibility will relate to preparing of bid packages for the organization by assisting with review, with drawings, etc.
- Assist the paint shop with infrastructure initiatives and bid packages at the plant.
- Prepare documentation to solicit bids for miscellaneous work , schedule and track all projects and troubleshoot problems, and work with the production staff and maintenance on miscellaneous projects at the plant.

REQUIREMENTS

- You must have 5 - 10 years of relevant experience. Paint Shop, particularly automotive paint shop ( Phosphate, E-Coat, Primer, Spraybooths, Automation, Ovens, etc.) experience is required.
- No degree is required, although Mechanical Engineering experience and education is a plus.
- Must have experience with MS Word, Excel , PS Project, basic AutoCad, etc.
- Technical capabilities and understanding of paint process, undercoating of systems, sprayers and primers. You should also have experience with juggling or managing projects and assisting with bid packages.
