This position is with the Innovation Fund for Technology, part of the Innovation and Advanced Technology (IAT) group. IAT identifies, assesses, and makes internal recommendations on new and emerging health care information technologies (HIT) and trends, and their potential impact on IT infrastructure and applications. One of IAT's programs is the Innovation Fund for Technology, a multi-million dollar fund to support novel ideas at client.

This position will support the Innovation Fund, as well as other general IAT activities.

This is a great position that will provide an introduction to the current and emerging uses of technology in health care.

Essential Functions:
Support the due diligence process for innovation ideas
Helps plan activities for the Innovation Fund, including group meetings, workshops, trainings and other events as necessary
Maintain our idea management site, helping to keep our portfolio of idea up to date.
With minimal direction creates graphics, presentation materials, newsletters, status reports, etc, from draft copy
Strong organizational skills, and ability to create new organization systems.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including:
Prepare and present (PowerPoint/Visio)
Documentation templates for various procedures when needed

Basic Qualifications
3+ years experience in an office setting
Bachelors degree
Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Additional presentation products (Photoshop, Publisher, etc) a bonus.
Independently completes routine activities
Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Able to interact with various levels of professionals
Adheres to strict confidentiality and information privacy requirements
Strong customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications
Interest and/or experience in health care
Knowledge of HTML and web applications desired
Strong interest in technology, desire and aptitude to learn new technology applications
