Project Coordinator

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to initiate and develop outage implementation plans, including analysis and evaluation of plans to ensure the conduct of safe and efficient Drywell Project Implementation at Brunswick Nuclear Plant in Southport, NC. This project is scheduled to last 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates are highly preferred, but per diem and mobilization / demobilization may be available for qualified candidates. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitor, coordinate, schedule and establish priorities during the development and execution of work in the drywell to support / ensure timely completion of work and close out of the drywell as defined by the outage plan
- Will be a member of the outage & scheduling unit and will work closely with supervision, team members, and Nuclear personnel to fully resource levelize and integrate outage drywell work schedules
- Support the development of pre-outage schedules that coordinate planning and implementation activities for drywell related tasks and projects
- Provide Project Coordination / Planning for the integration of multiple outage drywell specific evolutions (e.g. Recirculation Pump internals replacement, valve rebuilds, control rod drive mechanism replacements, neutron monitoring instrument maintenance and testing, etc.)
- Identify, negotiate and recommend effective contingency plans to support achievement of outage goals and milestones

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience as a Project Coordinator in a Nuclear environment
