Project Controls Manager

We require the services of a PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER to assist the Project Director and the purpose of the role is to manage the development and implementation of the Controls and Reporting aspects of the project to support project performance including budget, scope, schedule and risk.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management Principles including Integration Management, Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, HR Management, Communications Management, Risk Management, Procurement Management, and Financial Management.
- A minimum of 5 years experience at a senior level in the development and implementation of project controls and reporting including time cost and risk management on major infrastructure programs involving a number of projects, with a capital value for the program greater than $50 million.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Highly developed computer skills, including high level skills in Primavera P6, Access, Visual Basic and Excel.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate and influence the outcome of significant issues that require implementation by others.
- High level facilitation and negotiation skills and demonstrated success at building relationships with key people. Demonstrated sound interpersonal skills.
