Project Controls Engineer

Are you an experienced Project Control Engineer seeking a new opportunity? This is a fantastic time to join the core team at the implementation stages of a new project. The successful candidate will be responsible all aspects of project control and reporting, including project change management, estimate development, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development and schedule controls:

* Participation in kick-off meetings with the Client and Contractors to ensure common understanding of cost, schedule, estimating, progress measurement, and change management requirements. Briefing sessions for project team members with respect to project control requirements and processes. Data collection and recording lessons learned for the project. Supporting Project Managers with on-going project cost and schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and Change Management. Developing a document Control Estimates, Schedules and Budgets (annual and multi-year), and ensuring that these products reflect the approved project design/execution scope. Analyzing cost and schedule trends, develop and review cost and schedule forecasts. Preparation of monthly cost reports (budgets, forecasts, expenditures, commitments). Maintaining on-going cost vulnerability/cost reduction opportunities database. Reviewing monthly reports for actual invoice bookings. Administering the project change control process for their project. Developing monthly expenditure and commitment forecasts. Monitoring and reporting on cost and schedule implications of changes. Participating and providing information for contract commercial bid evaluations. Participating in the development of Contract Price Budgets and Contract Control Schedules and Milestones. Supporting preparation of Advance Commitment or Full Funding estimates and budgets. Interfacing with Project Managers budgets and invoices. Examining and evaluating the Contractor's cost and schedule control organization, plans, performance and procedures. Reviewing and endorsing schedule, progress and cost Baselines and forecast prepared by contractors. Reviewing and endorsing progress measures reported by the contractor. Reviewing cost and schedule bases of contractor's Change Proposals - review and endorse Change Controls - monitor, analyse and report contractor invoices
