Project Controls Engineer

My client is a major construction and civil engineering contractor involved in multi-million pound projects both in the UK and internationally. Due to a major project award at Heathrow Airport, we are currently looking to recruit a Project Controls Engineer. This is a contract position, initially for 12 months based at Heathrow.

Key responsibilities of the Project Controls Engineer will be:

* Preparation, analysis and publication of information with regards to the progress and cost performance of the project
* Establish reporting data for a variety of subcontractors
* Working with the planning and commercial teams to establish planned production expenditure levels, budgetary change.
* Liaising with subcontractor staff to ensure progress data is produced
* Development of activity schedules for the purpose of progress and value calculation
* Integration of programme with planned production quantities and expenditure

Candidate for the position of Project Controls Engineer must have the following key experience, skills and attributes:

* Minimum of 5 years experience within the construction industry
* Previous Project Controls Experience
* Expert in Earned Value Analysis
* Excellent excel skills and knowledge of Primavera P6
* Excellent client facing skills, written and verbal communication skills
* Team player and ability to commit to strict project deadlines

Location - Heathrow Airport
Salary - 300/day
