Project Controls Engineer

Project Controls Manager - 12 Month rolling contract -ThamesValley- Rate upon application.

An immediate position for an experienced Project controls manager who has significant experience of significant experience in a large project delivery environment. E.g. Capital New build projects, major civil Projects.

Job/Role Purpose:

To support the project manager by managing the following functions:

- Cost Control
- Planning
- Risk and Issue Management
- Document Control
- Estimating
- Coordination of Change Control
- Reporting

You will support the Programme Manager in embedding Project Controls Process and Procedures throughout.

You will ensure that standard Project Controls business requirements are met understood and embedded from both Contractor and Sub-Contractors and other stakeholders both pre and post contract award.

In order to be successful you will need to be able to clearly demonstrate understanding of contract requirements NEC3/GC works 1 etc.

You will provide Management, guidance and mentoring to other members of the Project Controls team assigned to work under your supervision.

You will be required to have expert systems knowledge of computerised project and document control and reporting systems, with emphasis on scheduling, cost monitoring, and earned value analysis using Primavera P6
